MS 460 Water Service

Honestly I don't know whether I should laugh or weep.
I have been getting saws being brought in for Water Service,
which I have been turning down offering instead a full check up
which would also include cleaning of parts taken out, decarb,
crankcase cleanup, carb tuning etc. But that gets turned down
since they just want a water service.
Was searching YouTube for chainsaw service and came upon this
video
Coincidentally it's from somewhere in this neighborhood

Just a cleaning no checking stuff. Never seen cylinder cover
come off to get gunk between fins, base etc.
Why they running the winter filter over there? They let more
fines through.

Our saws run with these wire mesh filters. The resin clogs the
HD filters and it's very difficult to get rid of the rubber
resin once it dries up

I do not think I would want all that water being sprayed
everywhere like that.
If you want your saw cleaned I guess it gets the job done.
