One part is covered solid by plastic behind the area, why none
there.

This subject comes up quite often on hard to find air filters
.Partner for example .I wonder if hepa type filters from
commercial vacuum cleaners might work for media .They aren't
that expensive and during the highs of the pandemic I made about
a dozen masks using this stuff .It's got micron rating but might
need blown out more often .When I get a chance I'll find out if
it's gasoline resistant .

Guy just did 4 different filters from guys info above. Some pics
of what he did and used and how.
Said 3 before this was tuned fined and working fine like a
flocked air filter.

I ask op if he did his that way above. He stated this = I used
one of those cheap condiment bottles with the small tip, it
kinda puffs it out. Tap off the excess and pour back into the
bottle.
