Has anyone done an actual check on cc and hp rating one these
compared to what the manufacturer states......these Chinese saws
are generally way out from what they claim the power to be.

Not that I am aware of. I know my G888 stock with a simple
muffler mod runs way better then the 088 local.
cc in all these stihl clones and husky clones are just like oem.
You can swap the parts oem and afm.
G660 compared to locals 660 like new still too was same same in
       cut.
       G444 runs real good like a 440.
G466 behind the the G444. But they used the later 460 cylinders
       on G466 is why.
G366 runs like my old 361
G111T runs like my old 200T
G372xp stock is not as refined as the stihl clones. Lacks
comparted to a OE 372. Unless you do some work to them.

This is a very interesting video.
Chinese clone saw stated as being 75cc, but when checked is
       actually 53cc

Totally different saws. Those things are not clones of the
       stihl or husky.
I dont count those even close to these saws. They dont even
concern me. The ones I talk about can swap oem and afm back
forth same strokes and same bores.
Farmertec does have one sort of like those. They claimed the
75cc. So 2 off us checked the bore and stroke and theirs was.
I helped walk the dealer through it on how to check.
That being said I still wouldnt have one of these, even for
       under 200usd.

Right now you can buy a G888 MS880 FT clone for 469 + ship local
on sale. The one I got before I even stwitched to unlimited
coil IMHO cut better then the 088 I take care of local.
       G660 high 2's G444 mid 2's etc etc.
It gives guys more cc saws on a budget without having to take
out a loan on their house for same size saw.
Plus they are giving us the older no longer sold new saws in US
       we all liked.
Also the stihl clones are the most refined IMHO too over the
       husky and zenoah ones.
       IMO win win.
Few demo saws guys check out.

My G888 imo out cuts the older 088 with cast muffler local I
       work on.
