       Notch chain
By: Elden Date: January 22, 2021, 11:37 pm

       Has anyone tried Notch chain?
  HTML https://www.treestuff.com/notch-3-8-pitch-050-gauge-chainsaw-chain/
It appears to be a China chain made with "German steel". Does
that mean it is made from German scrap iron or from German
produced steel? ??? The chain does look nice.

Never heard of that one. But reminds me of the forester chain
       look.
Thing is it is more to buy that china chain then buy new Oregon
LGX or EXL. That dont make sense.
Just to show you EXL is more then LGX by 1-2 a loop

LGX on another site and dealer that sells on my chainsaw repair
group FB. That treestuff sight is just out of their mind on
       prices IMHO

Your point is well made! I personally do not run saws any more
but keep my son's chains from his tree service sharpened. He
runs mainly semi-chisel except for his top handles used in the
air. He really has been pleased with Stihl 61PMM3 and is
converting all the top handles to narrow kerf. Will be trying
Oregon 90PX instead of the 61PMM3 in the near future.
