oem vs after market seal
By: ENTS Date: January 22, 2020, 2:01 pm

Just ordered crank seals for the 044 I'm trying to resurrect.
HOLY CRAP $$ I figured oem would be the best approach for
these seals since I don't want to be tearing this saw apart
again. Some of the aftermarket seals I found were just too
cheap to believe that they would hold up. Any thoughts on after
market seals or, for that matter, any after market parts.
Hope all is well and have a great one.

I've tried some afm in the 026 034 036 saws. Still in them
today for locals.
Some in the china made 66 right now too.
Seems to depend on who you get them from. But yes OEM is best
but sometimes costly.
Have had good luck with these folks.

Prices there are really hard to believe. Next time I'll go that
route and see what happens. Thanks for the info.
Later and hope all is well.
