Just saving one for sale with info. Just in case it helps
folks with ideas etc.
1991 KTM 250 hotsaw $2,200
Saw comes with bar and a couple loops of low tooth chain. Has a
lectron slide carb and a crank shop pipe. Runs on 91 octane gas.
Saw needs a little work but can be a real good saw.

I saw this hotsaw on a dirt bike forum that I follow. The owner
old066 or something posted looking for a crankshaft. No one
answered , it appears hotsaws are too odd or is it too macho for
that crowd, Lol.

That Ktm must have been a 125cc
The 250 pictured above would have no less then 50hp at the
crank.
Looks a little overbuilt but definitely a good saw for someone
wanting to get into competing if the crank problem is sorted
out.

It probably was a 125 .I didn't pay that much attention to it
.Just kept fiddling with the spring on the power valve until he
said it was running correctly .I never road it .He could flip it
up on the back wheel any time he wanted to .Little wiry guy as
opposed to my 200 pounds .
