LOL I can understand why. You folks are way more safety
conscious then we are and I wouldnt want in front of our saws in
a heat. We have a panel in front of each sawer usually.

yes those boys came out together, well was too hard to separate
even with video footage so the girls said go again for the lower
placing's and the result was clearer on this occasion. Young DJ
Kerr was excited to pick up the 2nd.
Same block they cut in the finale, always great to see and the
vid doesn't do a lot of justice to the saws or the competitors
ability, but at least we have footage of actual racing,,,, in
wood.

Yea we do things different, everything is different in regards
to saw classes ect, what we do with our different disciplines is
to basically replicate saw operations used daily by full time
chainsaw operators short of actually falling trees.
Its a skilled sport as much as engine and chain development.
Its a bit hard to compare what we do to what you guys do in the
States, equally popular with spectators competitors I guess.
Our currant ''All round Australian Champion'' is a yank and
guessing he has done both, he has said many times our wood is so
different to wood back home.
