Kevin does that green 358.350201 Craftsman/Poulan saw have a
chromed bore and bare piston, or a bare bore and a chromed
piston? I've seen both types among the various red, grey,
green, and black Craftsman variants in this series. I'm
starting to compile an index of the Craftsman #'s for each type
       (bare bore or chromed bore).

Will check. I looked at piston and bore but was only checking
for scoring and didnt pay attention.

I picked up a clean earlier Sears variant off C-list a few
months back, still in very nice original condition, I think it's
a type I or maybe type 2, it really does run well for what it is
and will see action on occasion, I think the earlier mufflers
are less choked up than the later versions, sellers pics, it's
       been cleaned up since..... ;D

Agree on the mufflers. Wish this one had the black 2 piece early
one. old 040 I would bet yours shown would have a chrome bore?
       Any info?
Aaron, this one I have here is Bare bore, Chrome piston
Had to order a muffler kit to get the oem deflector. Deflector
new is nla. Couldn't find a used one by itself.
If it were mine I would have closed off the rear exit and opened
up front and or side for exit
