       Archer 3/8LP round chisel
By: Chainsawrepair Date: January 4, 2017, 12:38 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
I love the round chisel 3/8LP Picco stihl PS PS3. I was just
looking at the Archer chain made in China and they are making a
       3/8LP round full chisel too.
Also have the 043 round chisel with wider kerf being it is 050
       shouldered down to 043.

If I figure out which one it is going to order some to try in
050 to see if it will hang with PS PS3. Doubt it myself but
might be good for the budget firewood guys.

       You meant the
       043 Kevin?
Thanks for finding this. The little .043 chisel would be perfect
on my Husqvarna T536 LiXP battery saw.

I'm getting 050 for me if and when I decide to try it.
The 043 FC looks like 25' or loop for same pricing as below to
my door. Would have to check to make sure. Didtn really pay
       attention to 043.
Willard the 043 has the bigger kerf like 050 as it it just
shouldered down to 043 on DL. Just so you know. What DL you
looking for if you cant find it? Wanting to say 25' to me was
       69.90
Looks like 100'.12 DL , 25' .17 DL and loops .26 DL all TMD
       shipped.

Ok I gotcha what you meant about the stepped down DL .043
       thanks.
No I won't bother using it on the 536 then. I'll just keep my
plans to run the 1/4" 71PM Stihl chain.

I misread. They dont sell loops of the full chisel 3/8LP.
Only 25' and 100' at $69.90 shipped and $209 shipped
I just wanted to test out a loop to compare to the PS PS3. :'(
Then if it passed I would buy the reel. :'(
Wish this was out when we did the 3/8LP chain build off awhile
back. Would have like to seen it massaged too.

Never did buy the archer 3/8LP FC chain to test out. Figured not
worth the couple bucks a loop savings
       just priced both TMD
       25' .17 v/s .28 dl
       100' .12 v/s .25 dl
Shame thing is I used to get PS3 for the archer prices back in
       2011-12

       SMH :D
Guy bought a loop of that archer full chisel picco 3/8LP chain.
See what they put in there too.

       Hmm...
Stinks that we can't order it by the loop. The 25' price isn't
much cheaper than I can get 91VXL for, and I don't want to buy
100' of an unknown (even if it is significantly cheaper).
Thinking I'm going to stick with 91VXL for now.
I'd say a few of us could go in on a 100' reel of this Archer
stuff and then split it up..............but shipping to multiple
locations after the split would add cost back in....
