Thanks for that ! I have a MS 200 and love it, but have been
looking for a small saw for camping, would the 435 be a good
choice for that, I keep getting outbid on ebay on the small
stihls. Don't want to keep my 600 dollar mini saw in my
motorhome, i store it away from my house !!

are these little 435s' any good? been thinking of wanting to
need one for a limber or truck saw. i have a couple of thems
41s' and do like the little toys but they aren't the fastest in
the fleet. especially when you compare it to the redmax 400 or
(yikes!) the dolmar 420. for $199 i don't think you could go
wrong, considering you'll spend that for a box store poulan,
homelite or troybilt crap.

most reputable dealers won't. the only good thing i will say
about them is the a.v. on them is better than their poulan
counterparts. not by much though.
still, i would like to know what the general opinion on the 435
is. the price is bugging me ($199 with case, spare chain and
hat).
it's funny. canadian tire sells these, look at the prices and
laugh :D

I havent ever seen a 435 for $199, only seen the poulan heart
husky 235 for $199.
I have handled the 435 and 235 at the dealer. The 435 feels
light and nimble handling. The 235 is to heavy for it's size
IMO. I had the 235 cousin poulan pro 3516 I took in trade. It
had decent speed for 35cc saw.
Never ran a 435 but it sure feels good in the hands.
