       just took in my first 455xtork .bar plate was chewed up exterior
       of oiler full of chips and goo. got it clean any other common
       problems in well used 455.

       I take care of a husqvarna 455 for a firewood cutter.   If my
       memory is right. Depending on when made there was a update to
       the bar oil tank filter. The early one was to coarse and allowed
       fines in to plug up line and pump.
       Also had 200T do this too.
       Check the thread 455 here on it. I also had the worm gear strip
       and melt to the crankshaft.

       we figured it out . beat up bar plate kept rubber part from
       spinning oil pump. tested it without bar plate and chain and it
       oiled.  bar plate pushed on top of rubber held it stationary.
