       Maktia Dolmar 8100
By: Chainsawrepair Date: July 27, 2016, 5:04 pm

After letting it go for almost 3 weeks now and still only
       rumors.
       Makita Dolmar 8100 80.7cc 52mm bore 38mm stroke is my bet. I
would also bet it will be influenced from the ek8100
       Makita EK8100 p+c below

Could be interesting. Doubt I'll replace my 181SE with one, but
I'm still looking forward to seeing this if it materializes.
Replacement for the 7910 I take it? My friend Dave's 6910 with
the 7910 top end is a strong runner.

only one small problem with basing a new saw off the 8100 cutoff
saw......it already exists and is called a 7910

ek8100 is listed as 81cc ? so guessing it was 80.7cc so it has
       a 38mm stroke instead of the 7910 37mm stroke ?
       7910 was 79cc
feed the need to WAG ;)

Same crank shown in 8100 comes back to the dolmar 8216
       Model:

       PC-8216
       Engine manufacturer

       DOLMAR
       Engine

       2-stroke
       Displacement

       81 cc (5 cu. in)
       Fun guessing anyways. :P

Found one called 8240 too. But all the time I have for goofing
       off guessing.

i havent heard much about the new 80+cc saw except that it will
be similar in design to the 6100 and be based on west coast
cutting conditions so i expect a functional and comfortable full
wrap handle and large dual bucking spikes. I have been lobbying
for 90+cc every chance i get but everytime they shoot me down on
that and say its not happening, expect low to mid 80cc.

A west coast 5-5.5ci saw with a good full wrap is interesting
indeed. Now if we had some dealers out here to sell and service
       them then that'd be great...

       I wonder.
