Poulan 2400

My neighbor gave me a really clean 2400. Needed the usual fuel
line and carb kit and runs quite well.
My question. Is there supposed to be a large amount of pressure
built in the oil tank? It's OK while cutting, but I must vent
it after shutdown or it will blow all the oil out of the tank.
Or instead of pumping, does it rely on pressure like some small
Homelites?

pressure and a diaphragm all micro family need a diaper after
use.. be glad it oils. you got it right loosen cap after use.

Yep like Danny says. Just do like you are doing and let the
pressure out.

I had the smaller cc poulan 2100. I really like the small light
weight saw.
