Great info here. I see some Mac 370PG is the same 76LG on eBay.
       The (affordable) search begins.
       [/quote]
I just looked at that Mac 370 chain it's not a match to the
76LG. It's 3/8 LoPro equal to the Stihl Picco or Oregon 91
       series.

You looking at same chain as me? Mcculloch 370PG looks just
like oregon 76lg in these pics.

       That's better.
Interesting......... Rebadged 76LG to Mac 370PG. I should have
       typed in the PG.
       370 shows 91 series style.

That is the one I saw. My confidence was wavering.
But, it looks very much like the current style I am running.

       When installing 72 -75 LP/LG cutters on a 76LG chassis you can
reuse the 76 presets with no problems.
Remove the 76 cutters on your chain breaker with the punch
exactly dead center on the rivet. Alternate back and forth on
both rivets pressing half ways to avoid bending both the preset
       side link and rivet.
When spinning the full size cutter onto the 76 preset use the
smallest anvils (.250) on your spinner. Makes a nice clean
smaller round rivet head that doesn't need reducing.
You'll need a 7/32" or smaller 1/4" socket and small hammer to
get the cutters onto the presets.
