in the chain build off rd 3? Will be using 8x8 white pine cant.

Well it looks like the Stihl RS is coming in with a high rating.

Only reason I went with RS was the gullet of the chains coming
       stock off the reel.

I figure by the time you get to modifying a race chain that it
really does not matter that much on what you start with. I
guess if the cutter height is higher that could be an advantage
but how much in .325 I do not know. It seems to me a lot of
other things will come into play.

       Yep
I did notice even though RS dont have the bumper link like the
LPX. I would swear the RS felt heavier picking up.
Can anyone weigh the 2 loops stock for stock?
or have a scale I could use to check local.

Like I said on the .325 build thread the narrow kerf 95VPX even
though it's semi chisel, it will surprise the .325 chisel users
       in stock class 8X8.
The new 95TXL is supposed to be even faster.

Now you made me go look stuff up. ;)
       Oregon 95VPX G-Series Saw Chain
95VPX chain is part of a Micro-Lite™ narrow-kerf cutting system
that requires less power from the saw to cut than standard
cutting systems and meets the ANSI low-kickback standard.

Oregon 95TXL Work faster, sharper, easier, with a more efficient
chain. Ideal for arborists and property owners who want top
performance. 95TXL is for saws up to 55 cc. (Replaces 95VPX.)
SpeedCut™ 95TXL narrow kerf cutting systems are more efficient,
needing less power from the saw than standard cutting systems.
Low-vibration, Micro Chisel cutters have small-radius working
corners for excellent performance and easy maintenance. Get a
faster, easier cut with a reshaped cutting surface. A sharper,
more durable cutting edge from a new precision grind and
optimized cutting angle. Always use SpeedCut narrow kerf chain
in combination with SpeedCut or Micro-Lite bars.

That top chain 95VPX looks like Vangard chain. I suppose that's
       what the "V" stands for?

I dont think it has the bent raker Jim like vanguard.
If you remember VX and VXL was also 3/8LP semi micro chain

No bent over depth gauge on the 95VPX. Same style as the LPX
       just narrower.
91VXL is the lo profile 3/8" semi chisel. Still waiting for
Oregon to introduce a 91 series chisel.
