I've got a BG 85 but I don't know if it has a c after it .It
does real good as a matter of fact.
My bud Tom the tree guy stopped in one night after I got off
work with both a new BG 86 and an 85 his workers backed a
chipper over and ruined the casing .He was mad as a wet hen ,
gave me the blower .I landed one from flea bay with a blown rod,
swapped out the parts and it ran better than his brand new one
.

Let me add something .I have two Stihl blowers, that BG 85 and
a BR 400 back pack .I will have to say this they are very
dependable .They both have primer buttons on the carb . Even
after sitting for 4-5 months they usually start on 3 or 4 pulls
.One if it's already been started .

Al,
We use the little BG blowers exclusively and they are rock
solid, especially for the price..

Oh well I let a BG 85C slip away. Looked like new for $60
asking. I figured the C night have been a easy start deal.

60 bucks would have been cheap enough .If you find another let
me know .I have some usable parts from the crushed one as well
as a complete engine from the donor .I have no idea about the
engine, never fooled with it .
Funny these things and weed wackers ,like saws sit around unused
and when the come comes to use they won't start .People trot off
to the store and buy another .It's usually either the carb or
fuel line ,easy fix.

Another for $60 but suppose to be picked up at 3pm. Odd selling
leaf blowers this time of year.

Bg 85 and 86 are great little blowers. I have ran them for
years. My old boss had 3 or 4 of them. Very reliable. I had 2
86's when I first started my tree bus. Than moved up to 75cc
redmax backpack blower for cleaning up stump grinding spray and
helping to get the small sticks out of taller grass. If you do
get one let me know think a have a PDF service manual.
