       I am looking for reputable chainsaw training does anyone know
       if any good training or luterature on line classes etc that I
       can look into

       You are in the best place to learn right here.  What broke down
       saws do you have on hand. What mechanic background do you have.

       Danny is right, there is years of experience here and we are
       willing to help so ask away and keep us informed as to what you
       are working on. Pictures really help ;D. Unfortunately, formal
       education on two stroke is pretty much a done deal, emissions
       regulations have essentially finished it except for chain saws
       and entry level tools but us hard cores won't give up.

       To the poster.   I work in a shop doing 2 cycle engine repair.
       I learned it all from forums just like this one here and then
       buying cheap saws and putting it into practice.   Education is
       not free and spending a certain amount of money on the right
       tools and then on equipment that you can learn on is not
       avoidable but worth it in my opinion.   I do it because I enjoy
       it and as a hobby.
