Yes metal crankcase similier to huskies and Stihls and
split-able haven't weighed it yet

It's a strange beast for sure! Anyone recognize any design cues
that might give a hint where it originated?
It does look like the carb feeds into the case, so it must be
reed valve.

though. Many of the Chinese saws are old Zenoah designs, or
copies of other saws. I'm betting this one is their own, but
I'm hardly very knowledgeable when it comes to older saws.

I was looking at the 25cc TH a year or so back just for
homeowner use. Just never pulled the trigger even at $125.
Spent even less and got a echo used.
