I thought I was undercover ! Adam got me !
Its a custom made 42.5mm piston , so yes its the 45cc cylinder
bored 0.5mm as plating to the same diameter after a lot of
welding is not ideal . The spacer under the jug is because of
the long stroke and high intake duration . The intake port would
cut throught the base of the cylinder otherwise .
The saw is for 0-54cc pipe class (yeah its a thing up there in
quebec/ontario) , 38mm stroke and 42.5mm piston for 53.9cc .
This concept is already proven , a friend/fellow builder built
one using my design and piston and its without much trouble
cutting under the 2.5 sec mark in 8x8 aspen :)
I will send a couple pics of the carb and maybe a shot of the
transfers when I get home if anybody cares ;)

I have very little time so I cheated a bit and sent it to a
friend for the welding :) . In the last two years I took a
machining class ( cnc too ) it was a lot of fun ! not going to
make a living from it tho . I just started working as a real
estate agent wich is why I have very little time .
I should still be able to build one pipe saw and two stock
appearing by may . Tons of project and so little time .
I am thinking more and more about teaming with other builders
and just selling my engine designs to see all these projects
done . I found quite a bit of interesting and different stuff
for pipesaws but its a LOT of work . Too much work for me right
now ... And probably for the next couple years .
Adam , what are you up to ? I know you build some incredible
stuff ! Are you still building ?

Best running alky 45cc 346 I have seen here was built by Tom
Fales Jr.
It was here in Ohio for a bit being raced and another builder
even tried to claim it as his own build. Just like he did my
woods ported 066. Guy just has no shame.
