update mcc 1435

put new primer bulb on and was able to prime gas to carb
properly, but the sticker on the machine says pump 10 times and i
watched how much gas was going into the carb and it was like
enough gas to start a 632 BB chevy,so after geting it unflooded
it started and ran good again, now i go and start cutting logs
and the chain got so tight it would not move,so i removed the
brake spring to see if that was the cause and it did the same
thing after 2 logs,so readjusted again,2 times before it
finnally continued to cut,any help would be appreciated on the
problem of the chain tightening on its own, does this have an
auto adjust,by looking at it i would think no,but thanks for any
info,by the way when i got this saw from the garbage it had a
broken front handle and the bar was bent to heck like you
wouldnt believe, iam thinking the chain kept tightening on the
previos owner and he wipped it at a tree because he was pissed,

The purge bulb does not pump fuel into the carb. It pulls fuel
through the carb and pumps it back into the tank to purge air
from the lines. If it's pumping fuel into the carb you have it
connected backwards.

it says IN on the primer bulb and i have that hooked to the line
comming from the tank, but i will check again,it has been
getting good oil to the chain and when the saw sits it leaves an
oil puddle, would also like to fix that, thanks for the help, and
could use more info on the oil leak when sitting, thanks

i would think it is just like all the fuel pumps i deal with,
where IN is from the supply and OUT is to the demand, but it
wouldnt suprise me,but when i pump the primer bulb why wouldnt
it take from the carb and pump into the tank, thanks

The idea is to pull fuel through the carb and get the air out.
With the carb full of fuel, the engine should run.
