There was young fellow when I worked in Sarnia Ont in'76-77 who
was constantly making stuff like that on the job I was on
.Rather large project with 475 electricians and over 2000
construction workers on just that one site .
Kind of funny,the kid was A" white ticket" in other words a non
card carrying non journeyman .Somebodies buddy .We were working
running conduit and welding supports up a 250 foot tower from a
crane basket which paid double time .He whinned he wanted some
of it so I took him aloft .At about 100 feet up he shook like a
dog chitting razor blades .I did his welding for him and he
never ever once tried that again . ;D

Pretty cool looking but I really do not know what I would do
with it. What is the metal that it is made from.

I didnt read anything about it. Just seen pic, thought cool.

Not a clue on this end on metallurgy stuff.
