       primer bulb on mcc 1435

how critical is primer bulb on this saw,it is missing the pump
bulb but the housing, lines, and duckbill is there, but is it
possible if i run the tank out of gas and then refill and try to
restart, that without the primer bulb it is not getting any gas
up in the line to the carb, and does it matter the way it is
hooked up because i noticed a longer fitting and a short fitting
on the back of the primer assembly, does the long come from the
tank and the short go to carb, thanks for any help

yes that is the way my bulb is situated but it does not show the
line routing, does it matter,i think yes because of the 2
different size nipples on the bulb, i have a new bulb coming
       maybe it will show routing,thanks

Yes it matters. Look close on back of primer base. Should show
in and out or at least one of them.

yes you were right the small nipple is marked in,so i pulled it
over alot and no fuel will come up the line,so iam going to wait
and try with the primer bulb, and dont try wetting the air filter
it just floods it and wont start, thanks again
