       solo 681 aftermarket cylinder
So do they need a spacer or are they made for the solo like oem
thicker base? Just wonder if a dolmar cylinder copy needing a
       spacer.

I've bought a few of those, made for 7900 but came with thin and
       thick flat steel base "gasket"
The hard flat steel spacers are problematic in that they tend to
crack the plating at the bottom of the bore/cylinder base if the
plating isn't dead Flat with the base. I've had this issue on
Mahle and other cylinders that have been re-plated so it's not
unique to the AM jugs but can be an issue using the metallic
       base gaskets.

I'm not sure the 79cc part of the description applies to the
       681. The ad copy says the cylinder will increase the
displacement of the 665 and the 675 to 79cc. Looks to me like it
is supposed to be a direct swap for the 681, but a big bore kit
       for the 665 and 675.
While we are on the subject of slugs and jugs, has anyone tried
       this one:

I've got a 667 that needs a kit and was wondering if this was
       any good.
