took a free remington 46 cc was ready to battle goo gas and
rebuild carburetor. was outside blowing it off and gas was not
that bad old but not stinking old poured it out put in fresh
mix 4th pull she popped 6th pull she run. put little roller
nose bar back on and tested on hickory log. saw is rated 6000
rpm so no speed demon but chugged right through dry hickory.
light weight oils good ready to work all day. starts 3rd pull.
seems mighty fine for 45 year old saw.

Free is good when it runs. ;D That was a shameless copy of the
XL-12 but a good saw in it's day. Hearing protection is
mandatory.

yes i ran my xl12 last week love it too. this one only 46 cc
everything looks the same as a xl12 but smaller and lighter. I
have a sl4 that is as big and heavy as a xl12 but it is 59 cc.
hope to get it to spark soon.
