You may very well be right. I know that stihl also made the 661
as a regular carb model based on the partsmart IPL I have seen.
I wonder how much of the whole pro saw auto tune stuff is
competition with husky. For husky still has a bunch of regular
carb pro saws on the market.

In other countries the 661 regular carb is available. I wonder
what it would cost to get the top of the carb and a grommet for
the screws?

When these models are field tested there's multiple units with
different fuel / ignition setups.
Heck who knows there's probably a fuel injected one in there
too :D

I'm sure there is a mtronic version. I'd just prefer to be able
to tune the saw myself.
