Jonsered 590

Here is my start to a 590 project.
Just so you can see what a 590 looks like inside. I really
like the set up on it.

Thanks (also for telling me about this site)!
Did you measure the bore of it?
This site looks really promising! ;D

45mm fits with the info I have from before - but I believe it is
50.9cc, maybe 50.8 (seen both numbers), but not 50.7.
The exact cc is an "academic" question, I just wanted to get
confirmation that it wasn't the same 46mm/53.2cc as the P5500.

Poulan 325 is 46mm and I got one. The top end fits on the 490
590 5000 500 50 special to if one so desired a cheater saw.

Me either anymore and post wasnt about racing, but the term I
used was. Sorry about that confusion.
But what I was referring to, is you could bolt a PP 325 top 53cc
on the 490 5000 500 50 special and gain a great deal of torque
in the cut for a firewood saw with the same weight of the 49cc
saw.

Was out in the barn today and took some pics of a 5000+ 490 top
end compared to the 590 top end.
Crappy cell phone pics.
