        Crankcase Splitting Tool  (homemade)

       Homemade today,here are some pictures.   ( slightly different
       than the hv tool)

       6mm plate , goes easily with a high quality jigsaw blade , (
       slow rpm's + cutting oil)

       Great job! You might want to weld a piece of square section
       tubing to the bottom. Then you can clamp it in your bench vice
       and use it the opposite way around. That way with the saw upside
       down you have the rod already between the ears and no worries
       about messing up the rod or small end.
       And is the case pictured a 61?

       Very nice.   You did a great job on cutting it out.   With out a
       band saw I would have thought that would be tough to do.

       Yes.  I also had a plasma cutter, but it broke. It would have
       been handy
