Any of the z bend pliers worthwhile for Saw throttle linkages?

I have had a couple pairs for 10-15 years and they have always
       worked OK for me.

Adam, there are whole bunch of tools and forming jigs used in
the RC world to custom make all kinds of mechanisms out of music
wire. 660Magnum can probably point you at an online resource for
those sorts of fabrication tools. There is one thing you should
check out, a precision forming block, you can make all sorts of
complex bends very close together, like wire throttle rods that
snake from the handle to the carb.

       thanks guys,
been using the bend, bend, then twist method for the Z bends for
throttle linkages and it usually works fine, although, that
method pushes the piano wire to the verge of over work hardening
and failing. i was thinking the z bend pliers would reduce work
hardening but im a little skeptical of the the z bend pliers to
work properly on the heavy gauge wire?

I've used them on .060" with no problem

I feel that's about the limit for tempered piano wire
