Had stihl 029 super dropped off last night missing a few items.
0000 958 1021 33mm spur
460 624 0801 E-clip 8x1.3
0000 958 1022 27mm rim

Bad luck for owner on this 029 super. Besides the 2 missing
parts e-clip and spur washer. I noticed drum wasnt setting
right. Cluch bearing gone gone. Clutch come apart and 2 of the
retainers raised havoc in there. Broke the oiler and connections
off. Cut the oil tank line in two. Worm gear trashed.

Was removing the oil line from tank to oiler and noticed
something weird inside tank.
Never saw that before. Another stihl oil cap without the outside
part. So it was screwed straight into the tank and fell in at
one time.
Got pic.

OK I got the new oiler line installed in the tank to oiler. But
what is the trick to make it easier?
Trying to get it seated 360 from inside the tank was fun pushing
it trough and around with flat blade screwdriver.

Had a new one yesterday. New to me anyways. New oiler, new oil
tank lines, new clutch, new worm gear and spring.
Chain and bar wasnt getting any oil. Pull bar off check yep
oiling.
Check and cleaned bar groove and oil holes. Checked and cleaned
bar mount even though new oil coming out. Modded oiler holes
thinking they didnt line up just right on the after market
forester bar. Added a extra oiler hole in bar on both sides.
I went through this about 4-5 different on off deals testing.
Any idea what I found to be the freaking problem as to why I
wasnt getting oil to bar chain. :D

So do all these aftermarket fuel lines have a thin spot in them
and kink right behind the carb? I was chasing why after
installing new fuel line as to why this saw wasnt getting fuel.
Turned out the above.
So I tried to to trim the end part of afm fuel line to shorten
it to stop the kinking but it is just to weak in that spot and
still kinks.
Guess it will be OEM line or my Redneck stihl fuel line method
if this is how all the aftermarket stihl fuel lines are.
