Thats what I did. Bought whole tensioner. Heck they wanted half
the price just for the broken part. Well duh, I'll take the
whole thing and have parts left over from the other one.
Owner just picked up and went home happy.

Been a long time since I ran and tested these.
This guy is running .325 18". How do you think this saw would
       pull 16" 3/8.
Is there a clutch drum for rim set ups for this family of saws?
       I cant remember off hand.
Also he is thinking of having me open his muffler up. Which I
know gains 20% to 23% right there.
Reason is he owns a DP 440 I did for him with 20" 3/8.

1125 007 1002 is the number for the 3/8-7 rim change over kit
       036, MS360 stuff will work
Be careful with old stuff as they changed the bearing size
somewhere along the way. You may need to keep a specific bearing
       with a drum?

       Stihl 029 Super

Stihl 029 super that looks new still with years of barns dust
covering it and 9 chains to sharpen. :P
Guy bought it for $50 PHO not running on word it ran when put
up years ago. Hopefully this dont get to interesting.
Looks like it could look like new with a wipe down. I can see
the bar code sticker on the front of crankcase.
Anything different on the 029 super compared to the 290, know
the same cc? Maybe tank vent etc updated?
I know about the 029 being smaller bore and super being same as
       290 bore. New owner didnt.

:D quick look see fill up and fire up. :o Missing tank
vent ask me how I know. :D Took off fast idle throttle plate
or something stuck open. Idle screw not even touching.
Off switch wasnt working and lucky had air filter off to close
the choke to shut off. The plastic switch seems out of kilter or
       things are misaligned.
Pulling carb next for a look.
       Missing prefilter too.
Anyone got good pics of the plastic switch at brass clip and
trigger areas. IPL not helping me much looking at it.
