       P40

Let's keep this thread alive. I picked this P40 up from an
on-line auction for peanuts. It didn't need much and cuts pretty
well. Kind of a major fail on the up cut. I should have cranked
the strap down a little tighter. The wood is old dry pear.

I have a soft spot for the Pioneers. In the 80's they had fallen
out of favour with the loggers but we sold and serviced a lot of
them for farmers, ranchers and building contractors. I would
like to find a clean 1074 or P-26. An RA wouldn't hurt my
       feelings either.

It's pretty hard to find them with much paint on them
