I had bought some covers from Outlaw at one time and these are
his pics.

My 372xpg isn't an ideal noodler with the stock cover, so I have
to get one of those I guess, to see if it helps. ;)

Hello Niko its good to talk to you again. Yes I have proven to
myself that my 272XP noodles much better with its outboard
clutch then my inboard 372XP.

The design of the chain adjuster on the 372xp may be a larger
issue regarding noodling than the inboard clutch - just a
thought, but it has been "rotating" in my mind for several
years..... ;D

Well I gotta say the superior balance and handling of the
272XP far out weighs what little disadvantage it's front mount
adjuster screw offers.
Come to think about it my 2009 395XP's front screw works just
fine or Husqvarna would have changed that if it was a problem.

Well, the main differences between the 371 and 372 was the side
adjuster and beefier case on the 372 - that adjuster is not one
of the great features of the 372, more like an afterthought -
but it works surpricingly well ,considering that.... ;D

Took one of the 372's out in the yard at the house today and
after adjusting the carb, I used it to prune a few limbs in a
Silver maple, a pin oak, and a blue spruce. Lifting it up high
with that 24" bar is a killer for me. Not my pick of a pruning
chainsaw.
I wanted to give it a little exercise as it has had a new ring
in it recently and has not been used. I figure when I get ready
to really use it that it will be used hard.
I cleaned it up and put it away.

I'm going to need another truck load of wood. Say somewhere
between this Sat and next Sat. You game?

LMK when you want to go.
Sometime this week I need to take the log splitter over there so
we will have to work around that.
That 372 is running mighty good

Just realized I have no stock 372's left.
Time to get my parts needed list together and get the parts off
the shelf and out of the box. Maybe I should put a green gas
cap on it just to mess with ones mind. ;) :D ;D
Before putting in box and stored away.
