That's because it has unevenly spaced firing. the uneven firing
makes the engine sound a little like a Harley.
If you think about the fact that this is a four stroke, the
uneven firing set up is probably the best way to approach
       dynamic balance?

So this is going to have a 16" bar with full comp and be running
       an 11 pin?
Might have to put the 'fan' on a shelf during the
       competition....

Here is a video of the four cylinder 300cc in a aluminum
Mustang. I think it has a resonating muffler. Has been posted
on here before. This is in Germany near the Austrian border.
Turn your sound up high so you can hear it!

My neighbor had a Honda 125 twin, neat little bike, it really
wound up, I got it to 75mph.

No matter how many times I watch and listen that plane sounds
like it is coming in for the kill.

The P51 plane design might have originally been American but
that model airplane, multiplex radio, Kavan accesories and Kolm
engine engineering and construction are German from one end to
       the other.
The Doppler effect really plays strongly in the sound.

You guys got me all stirred up again. I'm going to have to go
back and listen to it again.
