Pressure-Vacuum Pump
By: rayvil01 Date: November 8, 2013, 12:58 pm

I'm looking for a pressure/vacuum test pump. Power Probe makes
one. But it is ovrr $2OO. There is a Matco unit for about $100
that looks like it will do the job...model MVP 5000. Anyone
have experience with these or have an alternative suggestion?
Thanks

I use the MV8500 myself. It does both Vacuum and Pressure
without having to change your setup.

Yes, the one I have is the 8500 that does both pressure and
vacuum.
I also have one of the Plastic MityVacs that is considered to be
vacuum only but it will also do pressure up to 12 lbs but you
have to add a pressure gauge for it be useful. I use a
automotive combination pressure vacuum gauge tee'd into the
line.
