RedMax 7000

I pointed a member at this saw, however looking at the tag and
manufacturing date: I seem to remember that some of the early
570s had PTO side crank or bearing problems.
Anyone remember the exact dates?

Dont recall. But that was on the early 570 575xp saws. Redmax
didnt start rebadging the huskys till the buy out right?

IIRC RedMax became a part of Husqvarna in 2007, so this is made
in about the middle of the 570, 570XP, EPA spec dates.

I don't know when that issue was fixed either - but that is a
model I wouldn't want anway, as the power to weight ratio is
really bad! :(

Not a bad saw IMO. I had a 570 I traded for once like new. I
did prefer my 365 special over it though in back to back
testing.
