I have a three cylinder Saito that is .9 cubic inch. Cool sound
but not much power for its weight and more trouble and cost than
       it is worth.

Are those push rod tubes in the front of the cylinders? If so
you know that means over head valve.

The Saito company makes some gasoline ones. They have a battery
ignition with a single Hall Effect timing sensor with five high
voltage coils and the individual cylinder timing is controlled
by a PIC 15 computer chip. The three cylinder ones are the same
       way.
