OREGONŽ 40V MAX* Cordless Chain Saw CS250

Has anybody own or used an OREGONŽ 40V MAX* Cordless Chain Saw
CS250? I heard that a few log truck drives in northwest Oregon
are using them. They can carry it in the cab & not smell fumes
all day. Seems like this would be handy-dandy to trim branches
on the load...Thanks! HMLT360Pro

It might be a little spendy right now, but its fairly new & most
of time you pay for convenience! Thanks!

Back in 2011 the oregon rep told me they were working on a top
handle version. Anyone heard anything since.
The rep is a member here too.

I liked it for the balance and feel, much better than the
traditional electric saw with the motor hanging off the side.
For best results keep the chain sharp and let the saw do the
work, any downward pressure will stall the motor and trip the
breaker. Release the trigger to reset. I am not fond of the
Powersharp chain, would prefer conventional 91VX and a file.

I did a side-by-side comparison with a lightly used PowerSharp
chain, and 2 other Oregon chains (91VG, 91PX), new,
out-of-the-box on this saw. These were all 3/8", low profile,
low kickback chains to keep it fair. The PowerSharp chain
actually cut slightly faster in that wood than the standard
chains. Test log was 5" box elder.
I don't know if a 5" diameter log is big enough to make a
significant difference between PX and VX chain out-of-the-box.
Of course, how you sharpen it might.
