Are the small Solo saws any good, I have a Stihl ms200 killer
little saw, but i was thinking of a solo for putting in my
motorhome for camping, Was thinking about buying it from bailys
       logging supply !

I only have a little solo in a top handle. It is no 200 in the
cut, but I think the av on it is even better then on 200.
Solo 637 was less then $300 new and sale for $150 and up used.
You just missed a good deal on one on FEEbay.
As you can see the test wood was just about bigger then my 12"
bar. This is completely stock with carb needing a carb kit at
       the time.

The 235 is a poulan heart. I had one i took in. ran fine but
heavy for size. I would recommend a 435 husky over the 235 on
weight savings alone and more cc.

Is the 435 a poulan ? I would like a quality saw, but really
dont want to spend $600 for another 200. I was looking at the
       435 its pretty good price.

Solo's IMO have quite a bit of difference in quality/feel
between the pro vs homeowner stuff. Similar I think between a
real Husky and the Poulan derivatives like the 235/240. But for
an occasional use camp saw, who cares? All the thing has to do
is start and run. When you're sitting around the campfire, the
brand of saw that was used isn't as important as the brand of
       beer you're drinking. ;D
