Just starting the rebuild thread for when 353 gets here from FL.
I have been kicking myself for not buying the last running 353
in my hands local. So I bought this non-runner parts saw PHO
missing some muffler brace and bolts I guess. Says topend
scored.
I swear the one local I checked out had primer bulb, This one
dont appear to have it.
I just basically wanted it for a 353 test mule. Then who knows
might slide a 346 50cc top on it too to go back and forth. ???

What are you guys finding to best remove pine sap tar?

Best thing I have found is Kodiak heavy duty degreaser. Thats
all we use in the shop.

353 should not have a primer bulb. I had a chance to pick one up
cheap but passed, didn't think I would get it past the household
CFO. I don't NEED one but want it and that's good enough for me.

Just so you can see it. The 2011 353 I had looked at had primer
bulb. Here is a 2011 husqvarna 353 IPL showing primer bulb page
16.

I think (not sure) somewhere on 2007 they made the switch. That
being said this 353 I just picked up must be 07 or older. Will
know when I check the metal tag when it comes in.

If it is a 353 with primer it is a 346NE.
If it is a 346NE it is a 353 With primer.

Look at 353 IPL page 16. The 2011 353 I had in my hands I would
swear had primer bulb too.

I know it was a 353 but could be confusion it with 2011 346 I
bought the same day.
