Just letting you guys know that I started a Chainsaw Repair
group on Facebook.
HTML https://www.facebook.com/groups/415662708518445/
Figured I would get the name while it was still open. Just
another way to help and stay in touch with folks I know.

For you folks that didnt know The Chainsaw Repair group.
HTML https://www.facebook.com/groups/415662708518445/?ref=bookmarks
Heading toward 12,000 member's. Seems to be what the Millennials
are into.
Jim runs it for me and at least 8-10 mods. We keep it clean and
boot A-holes quickly.
I save the good stuff here still before it gets lost. Lot of
great info gets shared there. Just so you all know.

Holy cow 12,000 members . I tried scrolling through the names to
see if I knew anyone and gave up half way through the A's

Looks good from what I see threw my wife's Facebook account.
Didn't join the group as she may get upset with me if her
newsfeed blows up with chainsaw stuff. She does handle my
tractor pulling buddies stuff pretty well.

My wife has a facebook account but it is not my thing. I like
the forums and that will suffice for my social media.

Its such a faster pace Roger with the info etc. Its immediate
info at finger tips. I guess it is why the younger folks like
it.
I like be able to save stuff on the website myself. To much
info gets lost the other way.
Just like the name of a single board on a website and crap gets
buried.

Helsel wants your info there if you could.

The format, rapid pace of activity, and the general mindset on
FB rankles me......particularly on the chainsaw sales pages.
The forums still suit me much better....

and you think vultures are bad on the websites. Just wow there
:o. You have to beat them back LOL
That 361 would have sold there in the first few mins of the
repostings. ;)

I tried to tolerate the FB chainsaw pages, but gave up after a
few months. Everybody's trying so hard to make a buck off of
everyone else (or be on the 'winning end' of every trade). It's
off putting....
