Pioneer, partner,p/p,skil,frontier,remington....... I believe
all these used this saw under their name. I have a p/p that
color but with a better handle & chainbrake. I also have a skil
version just like this a but skil weak yellow. I have no clue as
to the actual manufacturer of these........

I've got two of those things and trust me they aren't much to
brag about .Hard tp say exactly who made them because they came
in every color of the rainbow .

frontier, trail manufacturing was the company that made them.
when they ran, they ran o.k. but no more power than a mini mac
and way less power than a poulan micro. a real pain to work on
in chainsaw terms. no more than the mini's or micro's just a
little more time consuming for little benefit.
i wouldn't bother spending anything for one. you can find them
all over the place for free or damn close to it.

The two I have were freebies as well as the 5 or 6 mini Macs and
one Homelite double trigger xl-2 plus a tiny little Echo .
These things are what they are and they aren't oak slayers .A
little firewood ,trim the apple tree in the back yard thing .

They are not anything special and difficult to work on. Got the
skil for free and paid $20 for the p/p just cuz it said pioneer
......the same age macs&poulans were better imp
