Nothing Chay did would have made fans out of Sam's stans and
cotterie. Those who bother will make the distinction between
Chay's performance and the limitations of the movie. Yes, the
optics do look bad and the flop was completely unnecessary at
this stage of Chay's career.
As for Sam: if she is remotely honest with herself, how could
she not see the movie and consider Chay the one who got away?
His avatars are swoon-worthy and his acting has been praised as
one of the highlights of the movie. Ya, nothing will stops her
from sicc'ing her PR hounds on him though - the movie has given
her ammo.

Insanity if true. There was a blind about Dil Raju's family
member(s) inteference in the songs. This version supports that.
Who actually produced the movie? Dil Raju or his daughter?

But it will do well on OTT. TY will be well received in contrary
to Acharya.
The makers probably had a premonition about its fate thus the
weak promotions. They certainly tried to save some money in that
department. The music didn’t help at all. A below average album
that is. Myself being a huge music addict, I didn’t listen to
even one track in its entirety.
Chay is made for the Tamil Film Industry and audience. They love
the realistic and sensible acting. Thats why SK, VJS, Dhanush
and all are warmly accepted and loved. They love to see the
actors as someone among them. This larger than life heroes ain’t
accepted and Chay can’t pull off such characters either. He
becomes super cringe and awkward.
That said, I’m pretty mad Sam is currently having the laugh

Chay spreading his wings is long overdue. I would love him
acting in something with Fafa.
Did he know about the drop in remuneration? Perhaps but in one
of his interviews he spoke of embracing both OTT and theatre
releases because they offer different opportunities for
expression. In OTT, he thought he could be experimental.

He wanted to experiment with OTT and go beyond his comfort zone.
Whereas, he knows its a risky business in theaters and he
doesn’t seem very adventurous. I was telling DF that his kinda
cinema is Tamil.. and Malayalam to an extent. He is a very good
tamil speaker so he would connect more with that audience.
UdhayStalin welcomed him very grandly in LSC event. Looks like
he ll be our adopted child 😁
