Sitara has done a song for her father in his upcoming film. She
is also very active on Sm for her dance, reels or photoshoot.
It is clear she is going to continue her father's legacy. There
is an impression among non-telugu speakers that Telugu families
don't allow their daughters to be part of this industry. Seems
like Mahesh-Namrata are proving it wrong.

Among some Telegu speakers, they are coming in for criticism for
" robbing of Sitara of her childhood".
The main reason daughters were dissuaded from entering Tollywood
were due to predation and "entanglements" (a Jada-ism ;D )
My thoughts:
1. Namrata chaperones Sitara onset. She is also MB's kid. She is
as safe as any child star could be on set. If she continues
acting into her adulthood, she would have achieved considerable
influence. #MeToo, the increasing number of female producers and
directors etc. have to some extent improved the safety of
actresses on set.
2. Sitara has talent and confidence in spades. This seems to be
something she wants to do i.e. no indication of any coercion
from her parents. She seems to be having fun. The advice parents
get is to nurture a child's talent. NamEsh (do they have a ship
name?) seem to be doing this.
In none of her YT posts or the "Penny Song" has she been
presented as anything but a 12 year old.

To be honest, I am happy that they are allowing their daughter
to pursue her dream. Yes, she seems enjoying this whole process.
And she is Mahesh's daughter so she can work on her own terms.

He is being criticised for saying this. But I guess he is right,
even bollywood's superstars would also say the same if they come
across such questions.

It's probably true. It also beats slagging off the industry
which made one famous.
