She probably wasn't approached to do it. Sai talks about the
rumours of her being cast in the telegu remake. Good decision by
Sai: it would have been silly to act in the remake of your hit.

What do you make of her comments, LP?
Comments on the vid with Chay talking about the rationale for
the casting of Shruti. It all worked out for the best. LS as the
first pairing of Chay and Sai is epic. Chay was not yet the
actor he was capable of being at the time of Premam (no Two
Sekhars to undo his bad habits), to bring out the magic of the
pairing with Sai.

The chances for Sai pallavi rejecting the film is high.
Pallavi won't do something if she is not convinced. And I am
sure she was waiting for a good movie for her launch in Telugu.
Clearly Premam can't be put in this category.
One thing I have observed, sp is very very competitive. She is
not going to compromise with her characters.
(And in most of her thanksgiving during post-pre release event ,
she forgets to mention her hero. 😂 that shows while
choosing films she only consider her role, nothing else)
And the thing sp don't have a conventional face for Telugu film
was very common thought. With the success of Fida things changed
for sure. Except SP no other Telugu actress give me that
realistic vibe. On the other hand all the Malayalam actresses
look so realistic.

As for chay... Q is right.. at that time chay didn't have any
sense that what he is capable of. He went with the
conversational way. Thanks goes to Majili which gave him that
confidence and obviously LS for changing his style of acting and
becoming more confident what he is doing.
I don't think he would do another Premam now.
As someone who has followed him for few years now I think LS and
his divorce. These are two best things that happened to him, as
of now.

True, DF! I think Keerthy is a better actress than Sai but Sai
is the most complete (best all-rounder). She does not have a
conventionally pretty face for Telegu cinema. If anything, she
is a force for needed change.
Is SP competitive or that she has set certain standards for
herself? She has her medical degree to fall back on and cinema
is currently her first love: make hay while the sun shines.
Since she does not acknowledge her male co-stars, that twitter
post about Chay is huge. [emoji23]

Yes, she has set certain standard for herself more than anything
else.
Kreethy is an amazing actress but I like sp's attitude. Kreethy
sometimes gives me a cold vibe.
For some reasons sp is fond of chay and the reason is unknown. I
believe it is because of Chay's behaviour on the set. Even Nag
also adores sp.

Q - thats the interview I was talking about. Given how a craze
she had when Premam released, I find it difficult to accept she
wasn’t approached by the team whereas Mad and Anu were repeated.
Her answer isn’t clear. We can blame it on the language
nevertheless because she wasn’t that fluent in Telugu at that
time.
LS with a fresh pair of two mature actors and SK was the non so
secret magic element in it. It worked the best for both of them.
They really brought out the best of each other.
Premam wouldn’t have done justice to them. And it would have
closed Pallu’s Telugu career definitely because the movie
wouldn’t have been accepted.
Her best entry to Telugu movies couldn’t be better than Fidaa.
People really went Fidaa over her and accepted her for what and
who she is. The movie belonged to her, and only her.

Chay Garu was an exception then on the stage
🤣🤣🤣. She praised his dance a lot in the
IVs and she praised Nani’s SSR.
She has always said she doesn’t care about the other characters
in the movie. Its only the plot, her character and what she does
to the plot. Nothing else matters to her so she tends to forget.
People call it attitude. I don’t think she wants to have the
edge over the actor or that she has a superiority complex. It
seems she genuinely forgets. Or Chay and Nag wouldn’t adore her
this much. Most of her costars only have good things to say
about her.. except Shaurya.

Keerthi is a good actress given she has a good director and
script. But she has always given justice to all her roles so
far. She was exceptionally good in Saani Kayidham from the clips
I’ve seen so far of the movie.
But her attitude is a bit cold, as DF says. SP is more friendly
and outgoing.
The Twitter post - agreed! Never seen her mention anyone else
there! 😂
She shared LS clips in both her Twitter and Insta handles. It
was a first to see her male costar on her feed.
Then Nani entered her Insta page.
If we compare Chay and Sai in their April promotional activities
and the ones around his divorce, it had evolved to a very
beautiful and very mature friendship.
As SP said, they didn’t talk that much on the sets. It was the
usual 2 pranksters colleagues. It changed around his divorce
procedure.
