This is an interesting question.... Not surrogacy but I assume
Sam was very conscious regarding her body and sex appeal.
May be this is why she kept pushing the date. Perhaps, they had
this planning back in 2020 but Sam ditched the plan. And may be
this is where all these disagreements started.
And chay understood her inhibition. Hence , made his mind.
This is my theory.
Looking forward to know you and Quant's view on this.

She said in an Iv that she had always wanted to be a sexy siren.
When she saw her career taking off after the marriage, there was
no look back for her. She became very very ambitious! And her
image, her figure mattered the most to her.
High chances she suggested surrogacy a la BW or PC, wanting to
be trendsetter down south and that’s when things went worse
between them. Again, it will affect his family reputation too if
they opt for surrogacy. And I’m sure he wants to enjoy the
parenthood phase from the scratch..

Interesting theory, re: surrogacy. Wow! That would have really
ended the marriage, for sure. It would have been a spanner in
Chay's well laid plans. Chay seems to be excellent
hands-on-father, doting-on-pregnant wife material. When did Sam
say that when she had a child, the child would be her everything
i.e. career wouldn't matter?

This divorce definitely took Sam by surprise. When she did
whatever irked Chay, I don't believe she thought she was risking
life with the Golden Child on superyacht Akkineni. Hubris!

It's not about his family reputation, it's about doing something
which was not a part of their plan, that's too for career not
for any medical issue.
Giving priority to the career over their relationship.
This can be an issue, chay thought he was betrayed.
Yes, Sam did say that the child will be her world but it was
just after her marriage, at that time only u turn was about to
release.
Things changed as she tasted more success.
I strongly believe their divorce has something to do with their
career.
And the way chay has concentrated on his career post divorce,
says a lot.
What i find little strange , that post divorce both of them look
more fresh and content.
I am glad that they are fine but still the way both of them are
agressively pursuing their career is really interesting.

I find them much more happier now and they’re finally breathing!
This relationship taught them a lot of things and he is much
more mature now.
Why I’m saying family .. because he keeps saying ‘I wouldn’t be
doing anything that would hurt my family’ in his interviews. But
of course, it has a lot to do with just the two of them.
Surrogacy/pregnancy isn’t a simple thing. Especially for stars.
It’s a lot of sacrifices and she wasn’t ready for that.
He wasn’t half as ambitious as her pre divorce! And now, he is
taking it very seriously! Almost like he wants to prove he isn’t
just a nepokid and that he has talents, he can grab good
projects on merit. Like he wants to prove something to the
world, and her! Were there ego clashes? Did she insult him? I
never saw him this much aggressive as far as his career is
concerned.
On IF, someone was saying it was Chay who wasn’t ready to
reconsider his decision.

He has always been very family oriented and knows the family
value!
The divorce wasn’t easy on him either.. poor guy!

The only difference is, he is silent while Sam is behaving like
she is the only one who has gone through it.
