He has come a long way after that. Recently I was watching
Dhada. Apart from his dancing and fight sequence he is
tolerable.
His improvement is so much visible.

In Premam he was good in the emotional scenes. Its the over
dramatic scenes that he aint able to pull off

If he is not fully convinced , he won't be able to do it. And he
follows this rule in both personal and professional life.

He is being true and honest to himself.. and he knows himself
too well, he knows what are his boundaries

This movie is a classic example of how Sam's filmography is
bulked up by great acting from her costars despite her own
acting. Sam was the weakest link in Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle
Chettu, right down to the actress who played the washerwoman.
