If I had absolutely no idea who Chay and Sam were, and saw them
for the first time in this ad, I'd have thought Chay [emoji8] a
talented actor and Sam an aging model with minimal acting skills

Awww!!! This ad😍 Chay is looking so handsome. It is all
about scripts. I am telling you, it is all about bad script
selection. He tried to follow his father's path. And clearly it
is not for him. He can't do justice to such roles, example
Bangarraju.
And unfortunately Telugu moviegoers prefer watching melodramatic
roles, larger than life character. And clearly chay can't do
such roles.
I hope he finds right scripts and all his films become
successful.
More than his father I think he resembles his grandfather.

Q - right! LS was his movie!! Like Nag said, he has become a
star actor.
Both father and son were emotional that day. The son for making
the father proud. The father was maybe seeing his father in him.
ANR’s Prem Nagar released on the same day years ago.
Bangarraju - Chay was good in it but it wasn’t for him. He
agreed for his dad only. He himself said he can’t do justice to
larger than life roles.. which is what the Telugu audience
prefers.
The ad - he looks so charming and handsome!!

Yes, and most importantly chay was going through a bad phase at
that time.
I felt after chay's divorce nag looked more protective about
chay.
Throughout Bangarraju interview I felt that.

Agreed. Chay looks more innocent than Akhil.
I don’t remember seeing Nag all worked up when Akhil’s wedding
was called off.
Nag was kinda agitated at the success meet.

Yes! He was either tipsy or so overcome with emotion, he
couldn't speak clearly. They obviously all know the reason for
the divorce. There was a blind on GA that by the time the
parents found out about the problems in the marriage, it was too
late for an intervention to make a difference.

As much as he was overwhelmed with Chay’s success (the whole
industry praised him), he was equally worried for him because of
the personal life going upside down. Around Bangarraju, he was
more outgoing though. Probably realized Chay is in a better
place now. Nonetheless, his whole concentration was on Chay
only.
Nag said in an IV to filmcompanion that he was jealous of Chay..
proud father moment!

What I always felt more than the personal loss(and the reason),
Nag was worried for the backlashes that Chay was receiving. And
it was clear that Sam won't leave chay so easily. Perhaps Nag
was worried for chay's career. And in general Sam is more
successful than chay. So he was preparing for the battle just
the way Samantha was preparing for it.
After their divorce announcement all I could see Sam was more
concerned about her image than everything else.

Nag was definitely worried about the impact on not just Chay's
career but also the fortunes of Bangarraju. Sam has been trying
her best to poison the North Indian audience against the
Akkinenis. Hence, all the interviews with North Indian /
Bollywood media for Bangarraju.

And Aamir Khan coming in person to testify about Chay’s
character 😆
Aamir’s admiration for Chay was genuine though. Chay is the
total opposite of Bollywood starkids.
Ya the backlash - he knew the negative comments would affect
Chay both personally and professionally.
Around LS release time, rumours were already floating around and
Bangarraju was the first release post divorce. The response for
Chay had never been better than this.
During BR promotions, Nag insisted Chay to speak more. He would
always hand him the mic and make Chay more interactive.
I was happy seeing the tremendous applause and cheers for Chay
at AS pre release event.
