       A Christian apology to Pagans?

       What do you all think?  Should Christianity, as a whole,
       apologize to Pagans for the destruction and appropriation of
       Pagan culture and celebrations?  Would it make a difference?
       Would it benefit the Pagan Community, society, and/or the world
       in any way?
       There is another article that offers a Christian apology to
       Jews...  Do you think that is beneficial to the Jewish people?
       Is it necessary?  How does it affect the Jews of today?

       In both cases, is there the possibility, or even a need or duty,
       of restitution?  Is there anything the Christian community,
       Catholics in particular, can do to rectify the wrongs they have
       done to those of other religions, Pagans especially?
       Does this in any way relate to the way 'Native Americans'* were
       treated by European settlers, and the apologies since issues and
       the continued restitution efforts made by the United States
       Government?
       *I only use the quotation for the simple reason that Native
       Americans are not indigenous, but migrated here just as others
       have done over the millennia.  They are the oldest surviving
       peoples in this country, and were treated horribly by the early
       European settlers.  To me, it closely resembles the treatment of
       the Pagans by the early Christians.
