Don't Mess With a Witch - or, Let's Talk About Karma

Who has Karma stories to share?
Here's one, Dani and I were just commenting on the other day.
There was (notice the past tense) a small auto repair shop up
the street from me. Last year, the week before APPD in fact, my
van was having issues, and we decided to take it over to this
shop instead of our usual place. Big mistake on our part, by
the way. The guy said he'd have it done by Wednesday, and I
didn't end up getting it until Friday. I called and visited
several times, because I needed it back to haul everything to
Pagan Pride. The proprietor ended up getting very hostile, and
threatened to call the police if we called or came back - while
he still had our vehicle! Needless to say, once we got it we
NEVER went back, and of course, told everyone about our
experience. (Not to mention, he, or his employee, failed to
tighten the bolts right, and we had to go to our usual mechanic
anyway to figure out what was wrong.)
Not long afterward, the mechanic up the street closed his doors.
I don't know the reasoning, exactly, but I can't help but feel
he had it coming.
This other one is really Dani's, but I'm going to share it
anyway:
Dani and a friend had scheduled to go for tattoos at a certain
shop. She paid a deposit and had an appointment set. Well, day
of rolls around, the two of them head over, and no-one was
there. They couldn't get a hold of anyone for the shop on the
phone, either. The ended up going to a different artist and
have beautiful tattoos to show for it. Anyway, the shop
owner/manager was unwilling (unable?) to resolve the matter and
did not refund the deposit paid, even though it was the shop
that messed up. Well, guess what - that shop is now out of
business, as well.
The moral of these stories? Don't mess with a witch.
:)
