       Sayer

       Everyone, please keep Sayer (and Rae and the girls) in your
       thoughts and prayers.
       Sayer's seizures have been getting increasingly worse, along
       with his lack of sleep and his asthma not being successfully
       controlled at the time being.  He's been to see his doctor, and
       in consult with his specialist, a decision has been made to try
       to get his asthma back under control, in order to improve his
       sleep, in order to reduce the number and frequency of his
       seizures.
       If this is unsuccessful, there is a very real possibility that
       Say will end up being hospitalized for approximately a month, so
       the doctors can figure out just what is going on in his head.
       If that happens, he's looking at having a pic line straight to
       his heart, constant testing, and having wires attached to his
       head at all times.  If he doesn't cooperate at having the wires,
       the medical staff will be forced to sedate him - essentially,
       they'll have to put him into a medically induced coma in order
       to monitor his brain activity.
       The deadline for getting everything under control is November
       10.  While there's not a lot, physically, we can do to help him
       - Rae and his doctors are doing everything medically possible
       just now - we can send them our thoughts and prayers for health
       and strength.
       And Rae, if you need anything, at all, let me know for sure.  A
       meal, a ride for the girls, whatever.  You've already got my
       love, and all the healing, strength and comfort energy I can
       send your way!
